How can it be Friday already??!!
Here at The Stables we have had a very busy week in all of our rooms. We have been joining in with our events for Penguin Day, foods from around the world day and kindness day today as well as many more fun things.
The children have been using physical skills to use their balance and pretend to walk like a penguin, they have been developing their taste buds by tasting foods from all around the world and have also been making pictures for their friends for kindness day. Our children have really enjoyed being kind to each other today and the older children have discussed what special things they can do to be kind around the community.
The babies have been exploring with different textures around their room and in sensory trays and have had some quality time with their key workers looking at stories and playing with imagination toys. The toddlers have had lots of fun in the garden this week as they have noticed changes in the weather and have developed their imagination as they chose the toys around the room to explore with and play with along side their friends. The early learners have shown an interest in transport this week and especially enjoyed making their own trains developing their mathematics knowledge as they counted how many people were on the train and looked at how long they could make it.
