Nursery Manager

I have worked for Evolution Childcare since 2004. I took a short break when I became a mum to my little boy who is now 18 months. I started at The Stables as a Childcare Practitioner and worked my way up to Assistant Manager at Kalgarth Grange where I gained lots of experience with all ages of children. I have never had a favourite age as I love each new challenge and after a few years of enjoying my role I was then asked to manage The Stables. I love it here, I love my team, the children and the environment… it’s perfect. The Stables is like a home from home which we love sharing with our new families.

I have lots of qualifications and training certificates such as First Aid, Safeguarding, Prevent, British values, Food hygiene, EYFS, Management, Team Leadership and I am currently completing a course on Autism before finishing my Level 4 in Management, most of which I achieved through training with the company and all of which have proven beneficial within my role. I plan to continue learning new things every day and wouldn’t be able to do this without my amazing team that I am truly really proud of.



Assistant Manager & Early Learner Room Manager

I have always had a passion to work with children and have had experience with all age groups from 0-5. From working with all ages with in our nursery setting I have built up a good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum. From the moment I started to work with children I knew it was the perfect job for me. I thrive off seeing the children develop and grow and knowing that I have helped them in their first steps of life.

Once I gained my NVQ 3 in childcare I started to work for Evolution Childcare in May 2012. I started as a childcare practitioner in the Reception Room, I then got promoted to room manager and this gave me more confidence in all aspects of my job role this has now led to a further promotion of Assistant Manager with in our team. Throughout my time at Evolution Childcare I have been given opportunities to complete training courses to further my education and knowledge on childcare and the curriculum. Working for evolution childcare for over 6 years has helped me in every aspect of my life and working for the company is truly a rewarding job.



Assistant Deputy Manager & Reception Room Manager

I have worked for the Stables Nursery School for over ten years working between two rooms, Reception and Early Learners and I am now the Reception Room Manager. I received my national Diploma in Early Years in 2006 and started at the Stables a year later.

I have received in house training and have gained certificates in Food Hygiene, customer service, Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and am currently working towards an NVQ Level 3 in Team Leadership. I enjoy helping the children to learn and progress and supporting my team. In addition, I am also the nurseries Events and Equal Opportunities officer. This means I take control of organising events each month for the children, parents and staff, documenting these events and ensuring the children are aware of differences and culture.



Baby Room Manager

I have worked within the Evolution Childcare company for over 14 years now and over that time I have gained great knowledge of all rooms from the ages of 0-5 following the EYFS curriculum. Throughout my time with Evolution ChildcareI have gained my NVQ 3 and have had training on a regular basis to support me with in my role. I started with the company in 2004 and was a practitioner within the baby room. From this I knew that childcare was the best career choice I could have made, and each and every day I grew as a person.

It was a few years before I realised that I would love to further myself within the company so I decided to go for the room manager position. This was a success and I was given an opportunity to gain even more experience and qualifications. I became a room manager and fell in love with my role even more than before. Seeing the children develop and grow from my care makes me thrive and want to be the best I can. 



Toddler Room Manager

I have worked for evolution childcare for 4 years. In this time I have worked at two of our four nurseries and have worked in all rooms as a room manager. I am also currently the nursery behaviour officer, this has given me the opportunity to work closely alongside all members off staff offering support and ideas, and also given me the opportunity to spend time in other rooms.

With evolution childcare I have gained additional qualifications in food hygiene, behaviour management, recognising and understanding children with special educational needs, first aid and team leadership and recently have just completed an understanding autism course.
