Reception have had a busy week this week celebrating Children's Art Week, Wimbledon and nursery being back open for one whole year since lockdown!
We have had lots of messy play using a wide variety of resources to explore the different patterns, pictures and textures we can make. We added paper to our garden fence outside and used crayons to make marks with. We also created a large scale painting to make a banner for Wimbledon, tracing the letters with our paintbrushes, before adding LOTS of SPARKLES!
On Tuesday we wore colourful rainbow clothes and made "Open Again Birthday" cakes. We used our measuring skills to add the flour and butter, and practised counting when we added the eggs and raisins. They were DELICIOUS!
We can't wait to see what we have in store next week!
