'Tis The Season To Be Jolly!

7 December 2018

It’s December, the most magical time of year for all our children. We have had lots of fun events, activities and special visitors this week. It has been very exciting! Check out all the exciting things the children (and staff!) have been up to this week...

Monday
The children received a letter from the big guy in red himself! Father Christmas wrote to Reception telling them he has been watching them and will be watching them very closely now and to try and be the best they can with good listening ears for their teachers, Mums and Dads. Father Christmas also asked the children to sing him a Christmas song. They chose to sing Rudolf the red nosed reindeer and they also had a daily Christmas challenge of trying to roll over like a polar bear. Look how excited the children were to receive the letter.

Tuesday
On Tuesday it was Winter Woollies Day (organised by Katy) so we all had our jumpers, hats and scarves at the ready! We received a visit from Cheshire alpacas, Santa Claus, Mrs Claus and Helen the cheeky elf! What a busy day!

Wednesday
April planned an ugly Christmas jumper day and biscuit decorating! The jumpers were hilarious and the biscuits were sooo delicious!

Thursday
Rachael planned a wreath making extravaganza. The creations were amazing!

Friday
Michelle planned for a toy collection as no child deserves to go without a present at Christmas.

Don't forget to get creative this weekend, it's Zoey's papermache snowman competition on Monday. How exciting! Feel free to share a picture or two of you getting messy and creative.

Wishing you all a fabulous December and thank you as always for your help and support with all of our nursery events and activities!
